Store

The Lake Chelan Habitat Store was established to help raise funds to build homes for families in need in the Chelan Valley. Your donations and shopping ensures that we continue to provide simple, decent, affordable housing. The Habitat store has new & used items including toys, small appliances, dishes, glassware, pictures, books, CDs and videos, furniture, beds and linens, men's, women's and children's clothing and some small tools. Our Habitat store operates with three paid employees and a major amount of volunteer power. Without the help of our dedicated volunteers, we could not continue to provide this service to the community. Volunteer opportunities include: sales, pricing, sorting, display, cleaning donated items and maintenance.

Winter Store Hours:

  • Tuesday through Saturday
          10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Habitat's News

Lake Chelan Valley Habitat for Humanity celebrated the dedication and grand opening of their new Thrift Store on Saturday, December 8th, 2007. Habitat's new store will provide space for an extended assortment of merchandise including clothing, furniture and appliances. Donors are asked to call Catharine Morehead at 682-7088 for further information and delivery instructions. If you're looking for a great way to serve your community, please contact the store.

Tony Race, owner of the Chelan Red Apple Market, and Jack and Gail Courtney, owners of Manson's Red Apple Market, will contribute 1% of collected grocery receipts to Lake Chelan Valley Habitat for Humanity. Habitat asks that people save their receipts and drop them off at the Habitat Thrift Store at 518 E. Woodin Ave.   Habitat is extremely grateful to both Red Apple locations for this generous and on-going support!

Brett Lamar has joined in our fund raising efforts with the contribution of $1 per winter sand-bag sold. We appreciate this support and hope the Lake Chelan and Manson communities, as well as visitors, will consider this donation when you are in the need of sand bags this winter.  We thank Brett for this wonderful gift to the LCV Habitat for Humanity.
